The Meaningful Experience at the Apprenticeship

In December 2024, my school was preparing its students for an internship, and one of them was me. I chose to intern at BPSDM or Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia. The building is quite spacious and has sections inside and I entered the finance department . 

That department there was full of good and kind people. They were very friendly. They treated me so well, sometimes they asked me to join them for lunch. They taught me about the job and also taught me things I didn't know before. The job is not really hard and I don't need a lot of time to learn about the job. 

Fridays are free days, like we can go anywhere until 10 a.m. Some of them go to exercise in the gym room and usually I would cycle or walk around the building. There was a moment on Friday when we were tidying up our room, it was like community service. We lifted a number of items to be moved to the warehouse and arranged books in the library. Meanwhile, on normal days I usually delivered documents to other sections and sometimes I was asked to look after the reception area. 

After 4 months, my internship ended and I had to go back to school. I gave flowers and bought a cake as a token of my gratitude to the people there, they accepted happily and we cried when they hugged me while conveying their wishes to me.

After I graduated from school and got a job, I took the time to visit them. I felt like I was still well-received and every time I visited.

They always ask how I'm doing and they always listen when I talk about my work. And when I have to go back to my activities they'll say, "Come back here if you have time." Until I write this I have never gone there again. But, I feel happy and grateful because I feel that they really appreciate and love me.

As a conclusion to this article, I would like to say that you should enjoy every moment you have with the people who are allowed to be present in your life. Be a good person for every moment that can only happen once.
