My Dream Trip to Shanghai

I have always dreamed of visiting Shanghai, one of the most modern and famous cities in China. It is known as a place where the old building and the new building meet. In the city, you can see ancient temples standing beside tall skyscrapers and traditional markets next to luxury malls. I have seen photos and videos about Shanghai on social media or other platforms, and everything looks so colorful, energetic, and full of life. That is the reason Shanghai is my dream destination.

When I imagine arriving in Shanghai, I can see myself stepping out of the airplane and feeling the excitement of being in a new place. The city is full of bright lights and busy streets. My first stop would be The Bund, a beautiful riverside area where I can see the famous skyline and the Huangpu River. At the Huangpu River, I can try taking a boat to watch the city from different perspectives. After that, I would visit Shanghai Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the world, to enjoy the beautiful view of the city from the top of the tower.

During my trip, I would love to visit Yu Garden, a peaceful place with traditional Chinese design, ponds, and bridges. Then, I would go shopping on Nanjing Road, which is full of lights, stores and people. Of course, I would try delicious local foods such as Xiaolongbao, the famous soup dumpling, and other street snacks. I also want to ride the Maglev Train, the fastest train in the world, just to feel the thrill.

My dream trip to Shanghai would be a perfect mix of learning, adventure, and joy. I want to experience both the modern life and traditional culture of the city. Visiting Shanghai would not only make my dream come true but also inspire me to explore more places around the world in the future. (Ashley)
