Squid Fishing

I want to share my experience fishing squid. Fishing for fishes is different from squid fishing. It requires different techniques, there are preparations to be made, like the lines, fake bait with striking colors and the lead sinker. After that we must find spots around deep waters. Lastly, we must turn on the lamp of the ship, because squids are attracted to light.

Then we must lower the line with the lead sinker. We must shake the fishing rod to make the bait look alive. After the bait is taken, pull slowly until it reaches the surface. When it reaches the surface, pull quickly so the ink doesn’t hit us. Then we catch the squid and put it into a container.

Why is squid fishing different from fishing for fishes? One of the factors is when we go squid fishing in the deep sea, we will surely get the squids, it’s only a matter of the amount that we get. We also need fewer resources for squid fishing. It’s more economical.
